SSDNSS stands for Shri Mati Sharda Devi Niswarth Seva Samiti, a registered non-profit organization based in Nokha, Bikaner (Rajasthan). We are dedicated to the social upliftment of underprivileged and differently-abled individuals, especially children. Our key focus is inclusive education, women empowerment, livelihood support, health, and the welfare of mentally challenged children through our residential school.
SSDNSS runs Navjyoti Mook Badhir Mand Buddhi Vidyalaya, a fully equipped school designed for mentally challenged and hearing-impaired children. The school provides special education, residential facilities, therapies, and support services like speech therapy, physiotherapy, and occupational training under the guidance of trained educators and therapists.
Children between the ages of 5–18 with intellectual, hearing, or developmental disabilities can enroll. The child should have medical documents or diagnostic reports confirming the disability. SSDNSS also conducts assessments for new admissions. Priority is given to children from financially weaker backgrounds.
Along with education, SSDNSS offers: Residential care for mentally challenged children Life skills training Counseling and therapy sessions Medical health camps Vocational training Support for women empowerment, old-age care, and livelihood projects in the community.
Our main office and school are located at: NH 89, Bikaner Road, Hiyadesar Fanta, Tehsil Nokha, District Bikaner, Rajasthan – 334803 We work extensively across Nagaur, Bikaner, and nearby rural areas in Rajasthan, supporting both urban slums and village communities.
SSDNSS is a registered NGO with 12A and 80G certifications and also listed on NGO Darpan (NITI Aayog). We are managed by a governing board of 8 members and supported by 20+ dedicated staff and 100+ volunteers. Our funding comes from grants, CSR partnerships, individual sponsors, and collaborations with government schemes. All financial records are maintained transparently and available for auditing.
